Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund
The Dunkirk Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund was established in 2022 with proceeds from the sale of the Chamber’s former office building.
Application Process
Submit a completed application to the high school guidance counselor.
Submit one letter of recommendation.
Submit a personal statement describing how you will use your education to give back to the Dunkirk community.
Who is eligible to apply?
(Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements.)
Graduating seniors in the Dunkirk City School District.
Students pursuing a business degree or attending a trade school.
What are the criteria for selecting recipients?
Content and sincerity of the student’s personal statement.
Potential for success in the student’s chosen career.
Preference will be given to those applicants with the intent to live and work in Dunkirk following their graduation.
Dunkirk High School’s Selection Committee will select recipients based on the criteria above. If the school no longer has an in-house scholarship committee, the NCCF will assign an appropriate committee.
