Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is now accepting Service Learning Mini-Grants Program applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Local middle and high school teachers are encouraged to apply for projects that combine community service and classroom learning.
This school year, five school districts received ten grants totaling $4,234. Several teachers pulled their applications due to pandemic concerns. This year, the committee will consider applications for remote service learning projects. Classrooms from all disciplines participate in this program: health, music, English, art, trades, and much more.
Applications are available on our website along with the option to apply electronically, www.nccfoundation.org/service-learning. Complete the form and return it to NCCF by March 31, 2021. The committee will announce the awards in June 2021. Visit the website to learn more about the Service Learning Mini-Grant Program.
