Jack Miller Trooper Toys for Tots

Mr. Miller was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a New York State Trooper for 25 years. Mr. Miller started Trooper Toys for Tots in 1965. He would take returned or gently used toys, repair and restore them, and then give them away to families in need. Almost all his volunteers for this organization were inmates from Lakeshore Correctional Facility.
