Sylvia A. Fenner Fund for Children

Established in memory of Sylvia A. Fenner in April 2023.
For 34 years, area families entrusted the care of their children to Sylvia Fenner. At her in-home daycare, Sylvia provided a level of care atypical of larger facilities, developing deep relationships with the families she served. Many of the children in her care returned as adults so that Sylvia could care for their children. Sylvia considered this her greatest accomplishment and found her true calling and happiness in the care of children. She cherished the years that families entrusted her with caring for and preparing their children for school in a loving and nurturing environment.
