Mary Ellen Benamati Memorial Scholarship

Mary Ellen was born March 6, 1954 in Dunkirk, the daughter of Dolores J. Raczek of Dunkirk and the late Leo J. Raczek. She passed away on November 11, 2012. Her husband Frank established this scholarship at Westfield Academy and Central School where she taught from 1980 until her retirement in 2011. During her 35-year tenure, she taught 7th and 12th grade math while serving as Chair of the Math Department.
