The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation recently assisted representatives of the Chautauqua Fallen Heroes Scholarship committee in presenting the Chautauqua Fallen Heroes Scholarship awards. This year the committee proudly awarded scholarships to Stephen Aldrich and Daniel Torres.
NCCF Accepting Applications for Chadwick Bay NYS Women Inc. Scholarship
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation and the Chadwick Bay NYS Women Inc. are accepting applications for the Chadwick Bay NYS Women Inc. Scholarship. Women currently enrolled in college or returning are eligible to apply. Although many of NCCF’s over 200 scholarships benefit high school students or graduating seniors, several NCCF funds benefit nontraditional students such as those served by this scholarship.

Dunkirk Area Labor Council Scholarship Awarded to Three Local Students
Dunkirk Area Labor Council President Doug Stock recently presented the 2018 Dunkirk Area Labor Council Scholarship awards to three students - Jasmine Scheffer, Stephen Romanik Jr., and Tyler Lampert. This scholarship is one of over 180 scholarship funds held at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.

Scholarship for 4-H Program Participants Offered to Graduating Seniors
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation is pleased to announce that scholarship applications are being accepted for the Terence J. Centner Agricultural and Environmental 4-H Scholarship. Terence (Terry) J. Centner established this fund to honor his parents, Harry E. and Mary Ellen Centner. Harry and Mary Ellen, residents of the Town of Dunkirk, helped a generation of 4-Hers to enjoy a multitude of 4-H projects and activities.
Trades and Manufacturing Technology Scholarship Available
The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) and the Dunkirk Area Labor Council announce the due date of April 30, 2018, for applications to the Dunkirk Area Labor Council Scholarship. This scholarship is available to students currently enrolled in Fredonia, Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua Lake, Dunkirk, Forestville, Fredonia, Pine Valley, Silver Creek, Westfield, and Erie 1 BOCES in Angola.
FHS Women in STEM Scholarship established at NCCF
A new fund at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation will provide scholarships to young women pursuing a degree in one of the STEM fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The objective of this scholarship is to increase the percentage of females working in STEM fields. Currently, only 26 percent of STEM workers are women.
