The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) has opened a call for nominations for the 18th Annual George B. Weaver Jr. Footprints Award. Everyone is encouraged to honor the contributions and achievements of an individual or family who have made a difference in the northern Chautauqua community by submitting a nomination. As a resident, you see the good that happens in this area. Please look around your community and submit a nomination for someone whose philanthropy is worthy of recognition – someone who has left those footprints that we should all strive to follow. It is not a requirement that nominees have an affiliation with the NCCF.

NCCF Awards Fall Community Grants
The Board of Directors at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation recently awarded $ $88,628 in grants to 14 local charitable organizations. The Community Grants Program (CGP) is a biannual program that awards grants to local nonprofits seeking funding for projects that address northern Chautauqua’s current needs and opportunities.

Dunkirk Area Labor Council Scholarship Awarded to Three Local Students
Dunkirk Area Labor Council President Doug Stock recently presented the 2018 Dunkirk Area Labor Council Scholarship awards to three students - Jasmine Scheffer, Stephen Romanik Jr., and Tyler Lampert. This scholarship is one of over 180 scholarship funds held at the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.
