The Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation (NCCF) is pleased to announce grant awards from their 2021 Spring Community Benefit Grants Program. The program awards grants biannually to organizations seeking funds to improve and strengthen the northern Chautauqua County region. NCCF’s Board of Directors recently approved these grants, totaling $119,091 and benefitting the following 19 local organizations:
Adams Art Gallery-Access to the Arts, for community programs, performances, and equipment;
Centaur Stride, for drill team therapeutic riding horses;
Chautauqua Adult Day Services, for program equipment supplies and furnishings;
Chautauqua Children’s Center, for gross motor and sensory equipment;
Chautauqua County Rural Ministry, to develop nutrition education videos;
Chautauqua Agricultural and Fair Association, for automatic hand sanitizer dispensers and sanitizer;
Chautauqua Opportunities, for an outdoor pavilion at their Early Child Care Center in Dunkirk.
Child Advocacy Program, office equipment, supplies, and program signage for their new location;
Citizens for a Better Cassadaga, for their beach step replacement project;
Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse, for shoreline fence installation;
E2CCB Educational Foundation, for a needs assessment;
Imagine Forestville, for Phase II of their Historic District Project;
Kids at Promise, for program support and supplies;
Lakeshore Humane Society, to support their Spay & Neutering Assistance Program,
Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County, to support their Kids Teaching Parents/Caregivers English Program;
Mary Seymour Library, to support their Solar Energy Efficiency Project;
Northlake Family Recreation Center, for the purchase of a zero-turn lawnmower;
Town of Pomfret, for a comprehensive plan in collaboration with the Village of Fredonia;
and Workforce Investment Board to support the 2021 Healthcare Talent Pipeline Program.
Organizations interested in applying for a Community Benefit Grant should submit a letter of interest before the next due date, September 1, 2021, for review by the NCCF Grants Committee.
